Key Personnel - ResCo Engineering Services

Craig Ransley - Executive Chairman


Craig Ransley is the founder of ResCo Services with a proven track record in human resources. In 1999, Craig identified the need for a human resources company specialising in highly skilled labour, placements and general resourcing of the human and maintenance requirements to these specialist industries. Craig began operating initially as Hydro services, located in Tasmania, contracting to Aurora Energy providing overhead vegetation line and easement clearing services before the company grew into The TESA Group Pty Ltd. Recognising its strong presence in the black coal industry, SKILLED Group purchased TESA in 2006 for $61.9m in cash. At that time, TESA had revenue of $165m and EBITDA of $8.5m.

Craig previously had an 8-year career in the Royal Australian Navy, as a qualified fitter and machinist, and now leads a progressive client orientated company focused on providing service solutions to its Australia- wide clientele.

Bruce Humble - Chief Operating Officer, ResCo Engineering Services


Bruce has almost 30 years experience in Engineering and Project management across many disciplines spanning Power, Mining, Food and Beverage, COG, Water and Industrial processes.

A product of the well-respected BHP trainee program he graduated as an electrical engineer at Hunter Institute of Technology in Newcastle and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Business for Engineering Management at Auckland University and finished with a Masters of Business Administration for Technology Management at Chifley Business School in Melbourne.

Bruce has fulfilled roles as Director of Operations and also as Engineering and Project Director for two global Instrumentation and Control System companies, and completed a major humanitarian project in China called the Yellow River Diversion project, bringing water to the people of the Shanxi Province. Recently Bruce held the position of General manager NSW for ATIVO, part of the SKILLED Group of companies before joining ResCo as the Chief Operating Officer for Engineering Services.

Bruce has served on global councils for Engineering and Project Management, has worked and lived both locally and abroad, and brings a unique multidiscipline and experience in Engineering to improve the ‘bench strength’ of ResCo Engineering Services.


Brad Collins - General Manager, Muswellbrook


Brad commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in January 2002 as a Workshop supervisor. Brad started work in the mining industry in 1994 with Beco Engineering as workshop supervisor and 2000 to 2002 he worked for Ellavale Engineering as workshop & site supervisor.

Brad has been involved in a number of large projects with Kelmech ranging from large electric shovel and dragline shutdowns, fabrication of new dragline buckets for Bucyrus Australia, P&H MinePro and CQMS and was heavily involved in the fabrication of underground shuttle cars.

Craig Duggan - Workshop Supervisor


Craig commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in 2003 as a leading hand boiler maker. Prior to working for Kelmech Craig worked for Monadelphous Engineering as a workshop supervisor from 2002 until 2003. Craig has over 20 years experience with fabrication and welding within and outside of the mining industry.

Craig was promoted to workshop supervisor in 2005 and has been involved in a number of large projects ranging from fabrication of new dragline buckets for Bucyrus Australia, P&H MinePro and CQMS and project manager for the fabrication of underground shuttle cars.

Ash Dickson - Field Supervisor


Ash commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in May 2002 as a Leading Hand Boiler maker, in 2005 Ash was promoted to Field Supervisor responsible for all service day work and breakdowns on site. Ash has over 15 years experience with fabrication and welding within and outside of the mining industry.

Ash has been involved in a number of large projects ranging from major shutdowns on large electric shovels, draglines and coal handling facilities.


Mark Cameron - Workshop/Field Supervisor


Mark commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in January 2002 as a Boiler maker, in 2005 Mark was promoted to leading hand boiler maker and is currently workshop supervisor.

Mark has had considerable experience in both shovel and dragline shutdown work including major rebuild work on dragline booms. Mark has over 14 years experience with fabrication and welding within and outside of the mining industry.

Alastair Savill - Field Supervisor


Alastair commenced working for Kelmech Engineering Services in August 2007 as maintenance supervisor. Alastair has over 34 years experience in various roles through out Australia. He has been project support for both Leibherr and Gough & Gilmour, supervisor with BHP Iron Ore Mt Newman, supervisor Ellavale Engineering and supervisor Machinery Maintenance.

Alastair has been involved in a number of projects ranging from major shutdowns on large electric shovels, draglines, hydraulic excavators, off highway trucks and coal handling facilities.

Michael Hardes - Workshop Supervisor


Mick commenced working for Kelmech Engineering Services in January 2007 as Machine shop and maintenance supervisor. Mick has over 30 years experience with machine shops and mechanical maintenance within the mining industry.

Mick has been involved in a number of large projects ranging from erecting large electric shovels in Indonesia for Bucyrus, machine and fabrication workshop manager 2 years, mechanical and machine shop supervisor 8 years, line boring supervisor for 6 years.

John Bes - Drafting Supervisor


John commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in 2003 as a boiler maker. Prior to working for Kelmech John worked for Monadelphous Engineering as a leading hand from 2000 until 2003. John has over 16 years experience with fabrication and welding within and outside of the mining industry.

John was promoted to leading hand in 2004 and in 2008 promoted to drafting/supervisor looking after major project work. John has been involved in a number of large projects ranging from fabrication of new dragline buckets for Bucyrus Australia, P&H MinePro and CQMS and project coordinator for the fabrication of underground shuttle cars.

Stephen Baker - Senior Workshop Supervisor


Stephen commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in 2007 as workshop supervisor, in 2008 Stephen was promoted to senior workshop supervisor dayshift.

Stephen has had considerable experience CHPP shutdowns as well as both shovel and dragline shutdowns, construction of oil rig, reclaimers & stackers.

Stephen has over 20 years experience with fabrication and welding within and outside of the mining industry.

Anthony Hayne - Workshop Supervisor


Anthony commenced working with Kelmech Engineering Services in January 2002 as a boiler maker, in 2005 Anthony was promoted to leading hand boiler maker and is currently projects workshop supervisor.

Anthony has had considerable experience in both shovel and dragline shutdown work including major rebuild work on dragline booms.

Anthony has over 13 years experience with fabrication and welding within and outside of the mining industry.
