Maintenance Contracts
ResCo Engineering Services has long term maintenance contracts both on site and off site with a number of local coal mines:-

The contracts vary in many ways; some labour hire only whilst other contracts are for maintenance services on and off site. The labour hire and maintenance services cover a wide range of skills:-

Dragline booms have been lowered for major overhauls including cord replacements on Bucyrus machines, mast to boom point suspension ropes replaced, IBS ropes replaced and the IBS rope boom support mounts upgraded.
ResCo carry out boom repairs on both P&H and Bucyrus draglines.
ResCo have completed walk leg upgrades on P&H 9020 draglines where the walk pin and spherical ball is removed and the walk leg and cap is modified to take a replaceable sleave.
Swing rack segments on P&H 9020 draglines have been removed using a lifting jig attached to the tally handler and replaced with reconditioned segments.
The revolving frame on P&H 4100 shovels have been jacked clear of the carbody and the carbody walked out from under the revolving frame. Both the upper & lower roller paths and swing rack were replaced.
The top of the carbody was machined flat, the new swing rack centralised and over sized dowel holes were reamed to size and new dowels shrink fitted using liquid nitrogen.
ResCo have stripped down dragline and shovel gear cases, gearing and bearings have been replaced and a full Q.A carried out on bearing journal alignments and bore sizes to O.E.M. specifications.
The revolving frame on Liebherr 996 excavators have been jacked clear of the carbody and the carbody walked out from under the revolving frame. The floor was surveyed to ensure compliance with manufactures specifications.
The top of the carbody was measured to check alignment is to O.E.M requirements and a new swing bearing located and
secured.
ResCo have removed centre girder from carbody to enable major structural repairs to be carried out to both track frames.
